Trip Dates: June 1-11, 2010 - Eleven days counting day of departure from the USA and the day of arrival back in the USA. This is one to two days longer than the majority of Israel trips, and includes nine touring days (two more than usual).
Trip Theme: We have chosen a trip that will focus primarily on the Biblical and religious sites in Israel. To maximize our time, there are no other countries included in this trip as there are in some tours. There is no way possible to see all we would like to in nine touring days, but we will try to see many of the major Biblical sites. Knowing that there will be some in our group who have studied modern Israel as well as ancient Israel, we will see some of the key sites dealing with modern Israel, and some extra-Biblical archeological sites.
Hotels:

Trip price is based on two persons sharing a room (double beds). Single room is subject to availability for an additional cost of $600. Should a traveler not have a roommate or if roommate cancels before departure, the passenger may have to pay the supplemental charge. (You may be billed after the final payment date for single room accommodations as necessary.) For those not traveling with a person they choose to room with, we will do our best to team you with another person in similar circumstances, but this cannot be guaranteed. Hotels are Jewish 4 and 5 Star rated hotels; extremely luxurious.

Trip Pricing

NOTE: There are several factors that affect the price of a trip to Israel. The total number of persons making the trip is one factor. Light of Life Ministry’s June 2010 trip has a maximum number of 42 persons. However, we are now pricing this trip based on 25 persons. If more than 25 actually go, your price will decrease slightly (approximately $55 at 30 people, $95 at 35 people, and $125 at 40 people). As stated, we are prepared for as many as 42 people to go, but have priced the trip based on 25 so we will not have to increase your cost if less than expected actually register. Some large ministries book trips with 100, 200, or even more persons, making the trip slightly less in cost, but the down side is all the excess time spent in trying to get everyone assembled, meals, rest stops, etc., resulting in fewer places visited and less time that can be spent on site. Another factor is the number of touring days and the number of places visited. We will be touring nine days in an eleven day trip. The usual trip is ten days with seven touring days. This extra day increases the trip price compared to those who use only seven touring days. Another “big” factor is what hotels are booked. Some discount trips book cheaper hotels (usually non-Jewish hotels). Our hotels are Jewish owned and operated, and are four and five star hotels in excellent locations. Yes, this does cost a little more, but believe me, you will not be sorry! Finally, some trips quote a lower price, but then add on all the extras at the end. We have done our best to let you know what your cost will be for this trip. Due to the current conditions in fuel costs related to airline prices, they will not guarantee a ticket price. Therefore, you will see an Airline tax and fuel surcharge reflected in the pricing schedule below. The airlines will not lock in a price until 30 days from departure, so this tax and fuel surcharge is what was quoted at the time of seat reservation from the airline. It is possible this cost may be more or less based on fuel prices next May. Please consider these variables if you compare trip pricing.

The prices quoted below are in US dollars and are based on quotes available at this time. There are a couple of items included in this base price that may be subject to change based on the devaluation of the dollar oversees, but this change, if any, should be minimal. The Airline Taxes would only change if the governing tax laws change prior to departure. The Fuel Surcharge is a variable, but as airlines purchase fuel for several months in advance, this price should not change much either up or down. Tips are fixed and will not change.

Base Trip Price (flight, hotels, meals, entrance fees, ground transportation, bus driver, guide, etc.) $ 3,319.00*
Airline Taxes & Fuel Surcharge (This is the fee quoted in July 2009 by the airlines and is subject to increase or decrease – for comparison, when oil was over $140 a barrel this charge was approximately $725) 542.00**
Tips (covers tips for airport baggage handlers, hotel employees, meal servers, etc.) 85.00
  _________
PROPOSED TRIP TOTAL: $ 3,946.00

* Based on 25 passengers. This price may be less if more than 25 go on the trip. We are prepared for 42, so this price could be as much as $125 less than quoted.

** Airlines contract their fuel months in advance, therefore the fuel surcharge will be based upon their contract price for June 2010.
